Greens & Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup roughly chopped kale leaves, stems removed 

  • 1 cup Organic Baby Spinach 250 mL

  • 1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1/2 ripe avocado

  • 1 scoop grass fed whey protein or vegan protein powder

  • 1-2 packets of stevia

Instructions:

In a blender, add kale, spinach, frozen blueberries and avocado. Top with almond milk. Blend on low speed until puréed. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, 3 to 4 minutes. Pour and serve.

Tips:

  1. Freezing the kale and spinach in small pre-portioned baggies, helps break it down smoother.

  2. you can add boosters like collagen, fiber and or glutamine.
