1 cup roughly chopped kale leaves, stems removed
1 cup Organic Baby Spinach 250 mL
1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 ripe avocado
1 scoop grass fed whey protein or vegan protein powder
1-2 packets of stevia
In a blender, add kale, spinach, frozen blueberries and avocado. Top with almond milk. Blend on low speed until puréed. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, 3 to 4 minutes. Pour and serve.
Freezing the kale and spinach in small pre-portioned baggies, helps break it down smoother.
you can add boosters like collagen, fiber and or glutamine.
