Simple Asian Lettuce Wraps


  • 1 lb lean ground beef or ground turkey, or ground soy

  • 1 tbsp tamari sauce low sodium

  • 8 lettuce leaves (,Radicchio, butterhead lettuce or romaine lettuce)

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • garlic and ginger to taste

  • You can add vegetables like peppers or carrots.

  • cilantro chopped (optional)


  1. Cook ground meat in a non stick pan.

  2. Add season and tamari sauce.

  3. Serve in 2 lettuce leaves. (one serving would be about 3-4 oz)

  4. top with sesame seeds and cilantro (optional)
